Abstract

Cieľom projektu je priviesť ľudí späť do malých horských mestečiek na severe Českej republiky a inšpirovať ich, aby prišli vlakom a malým staniciam sa vrátila ich zašlá sláva. Parcela sa nachádza v areáli železničnej stanice Kořenov. Na parcele je relatívne veľké prevýšenie, navrhnutý objekt je zasadený do svahu. Objekt má jedno podzemné a tri nadzemné podlažia. V podzemnom podlaží sa nachádzajú technické miestnosti a sklady, na prvom podlaží sú kancelárske priestory v jednej časti a v druhej je malá spoločenská sála a kaviareň, ktorá sa môže otvoriť a prepojiť s exteriérom. Zvyšné podlažia majú otvorenú dispozíciu, ktorá dovoľuje variabilné využitie priestoru - workshopy, teambuildingy, diskusie, výstavy, kreatívne dielne, záujmové krúžky pre deti aj dospelých, lokálnych, aj turistov. Nosná konštrukcia je z betónu a strechu drží drevený krov. Na fasáde je drevený obklad, drevo je súčasťou aj interiéru, v podobe obkladu stien preglejkou. Hmota je kompaktná a jednoduchá, bez komplikovaných detailov, kvôli zložitejším poveternostným podmienkam v danej lokalite.

The project is about getting people back into small mountain towns in the north of the Czech republic, preferably by train and giving back the fame that the railway stations once had. The building site is located in the area of the railway station in Kořenov. The site is in a slope, so the building reacts to that - it is set in it. It has one underground floor and three floors above the ground. The underground floor is mainly for technical rooms and storage, on the first floor there is a part for offices and on the other part there is a smaller hall and a café that can open to the outside piazzeta. The other floors hold open spaces for workshops, teambuildings, shows, discussions and other creative activities for school children, locals and also tourists. The construction materials are concrete walls and ceilings and wooden truss for the roof. The mass is compact and simple, without any complicated details because of the rough weather conditions throughout the year.
