Abstract

Bakalarska prace se zabyva uvahou nad designem glukometru, jako lecebne diabeticke pomucky ve vztahu k uzivateli, jeho abstrakci a transformaci do castecne nove formy. Pri analyze trhu narazil autor na necekane mnoho spolecnych problemu, ktere skoro vsechny glukometry na trhu sdileji. Tento text na konkretni problemy upozornuje a v sekci "Design _ vlastni design" navrhuje autor jeho predstavu idealniho glukometru, ktery zaroven slouzi jako univerzalni priklad nove generaci glukometru, ktera by mela refklektovat dnesni standardy. Soucasti prace je take manifest, ktery obsahuje pozadavky na konkretni zmeny a resene problemy.

This bachelor thesis focuses on the design of a glucose meter as a diabetes medical device in relation with the user. The thesis deals with the glucose-meter's abstraction and transformation into a partially new form. During the market analysis the author encountered an unexpected number of problems shared by almost every meter on the market. This thesis points out those problems, and in the part "Design _ vlastni design" the author presents his own vision of an ideal glucose meter design that also acts as an universal example for the new generation of glucosemeters that should come to meet today's standards.
