Příprava a realizace bentonitového těsnění experimentu EPSP

Abstract

V České republice je na rok 2050 plánována výstavba hlubinného úložiště radioaktivních odpadů. Pro stavby tohoto typu jsou vzhledem k potřebě dlouhodobé bezpečnosti stanovena přísná pravidla. Celoevropský projekt DOPAS se touto problematikou zabývá. Cílem projektu je ve skutečném měřítku demonstrovat výstavbu čtyř experimentálních zátek v přístupových štolách hlubinných úložišť. Experiment EPSP, který vzniká v České republice ve štole Josef, má demonstrovat proveditelnost českého konceptu takové zátky. Tato práce byla zpracována na pracovišti Centra experimentální geotechniky, které provozuje štolu Josef. Práce řeší ověření způsobu hutnění a nástřiku bentonitu 75, který byl pro experiment vybrán. Práce dále navrhuje způsob odběru vzorků z experimentu. V rámci monitorování experimentu je provedena kalibrace vlhkostních senzorů a navržen způsob jak tyto senzory instalovat přímo v experimentu. Jsou zde prezentovány výsledky a postupy provádění zkoušek hutnění materiálu, nástřiku materiálu a kalibrace vlhkostních senzorů.

In 2015, new construction of deep geological repository of radioactive waste is planned at the area in CR. The aim of the DOPAS project is to address the design basis of and reference designs and strategies for plugs and seals to be used in geological disposal facilities. The Czech experiment "Experimental Pressure and Sealing Plug" (EPSP) is studying developments concerning the design basis, reference designs and strategies including compliance issues. The EPSP experiment is being built at the Josef underground laboratory. This thesis was made under the Center of Experimental Geotechnics at the URC Josef. The work deals with the verification of compaction method and shot clay. Bentonite 75 was selected for the experiment. Moreover, acquisition of experimental samples is also described. In a scope of experiment monitoring, water content sensors calibration is managed and a way to sensors installation within the experiment is proposed. The thesis presents workflows and results of the compaction method tests, shot clays in-site experiments, and water content sensors calibration.
