PÍSEK - DOMOV PRO SENIORY

Abstract

Zadáním diplomové práce je návrh domova pro seniory ve městě Písek. Řešeným územím je stávající areál plaveckého bazénu s navazujícím okolím. Území se nachází v bezprostředním kontaktu s historickým jádrem města a přírodním prostředím řeky Otavy. Stávající plavecký bazén má být podle záměru města přesunut do sportovního areálu na druhém břehu řeky, což nabízí otázku nového využití pozemku. Studie je příležitostí propojit dnes nepřístupný břeh s cestou kolem hradeb a poskytnout nové využití území s respektem k historické zástavbě města.

The topic of the diploma thesis is a home for the elderly in the city of Písek. The area under consideration is the existing swimming pool area with the surrounding area. The area is located in direct contact with the historical core of the city and the the Otava River. According to the city's plan, the existing swimming pool is to be moved to a sports area on the other bank of the river, which raises the question of a new use of the land. The study is an opportunity to connect the currently inaccessible bank with a path around the city walls and provide a new use of the area with respect for the historical development of the city.
