Abstract

Moje domy jsou děti činžáku a paneláku, některý mají rádi kulturu, jiný trochu bláta. Všichni mají ale stejný geny, reprezentativní a víkendovou fasádu. Jsou na konci městské struktury v Libni, na pomezí městských bloků a chatařské kolonie. Snažím se co nejvíce zachovat pocit z neukončené Libně a plynule přejít z města do přírody, kácet co nejméně stromů, vlastně jenom tři. Pohled do korun původních stromů je pro mě důležitý, nikdo se nekouká do oken druhému.

My houses are the children of those from 30s and 70s, some of them like culture, others a bit of mud. But they all have the same genes, a representative and weekend facade. They are at the end of the urban structure in Libeň, on the border between the city blocks and the shanty colony. I am trying to preserve the feeling of the unfinished Libeň and smoothly transition from the city to nature, cutting down as few trees as possible, actually only three. The view into the crowns of native trees is important to me, no one looks into another's windows.
