Polyfunkční dům - Alžbětín

Abstract

Předmětem této diplomové práce je návrh souboru budov nového místního centra v Alžbětíně u Železné Rudy. Alžbětín, kdysi prosperující šumavská osada, ztratil ve 20. století svůj význam i obyvatele. Jedinou dochovanou dominantou zůstalo historické hraniční nádraží, které dodnes láká návštěvníky. Diplomová práce navazuje na předdiplomní územní studii a propojuje moderní architekturu s tou tradiční. Návrh zahrnuje obecní dům s kavárnou a sálem, ordinace praktického lékaře, komerční jednotky a převážně prostorné byty pro nově příchozí obyvatele. Cílem práce je vytvořit důstojné a atraktivní místo pro život uprostřed Šumavy a maximálně využít výhod, jako jsou výhledy na okolní krajinu. Práce si klade za cíl nejen revitalizovat centrum Alžbětína, ale také přispět k oživení místní komunity a podpořit její další rozvoj. Stavba byla pojata jako dřevostavba, konkrétně z CLT panelů a lepených dřevěných rámů. Toto rozhodnutí bylo motivováno nejen lokalitou a estetickým laděním s okolní přírodou, ale také z hlediska udržitelnosti a ekologických aspektů. CLT panely a lepené dřevěné rámy umožňují efektivní a ekologicky šetrnou konstrukci s minimálním dopadem na životní prostředí, což přispívá k celkové udržitelnosti projektu.

The subject of the thesis is the design of a set of buildings for a new local center in Alžbětín near Železná Ruda. Alžbětín, once a thriving settlement in the Šumava region, lost its significance and population in the 20th century. The only remaining landmark is the historic border railway station, which still attracts visitors today. This thesis builds on a pre-diploma urban study and integrates modern architecture with the traditional one. The design includes a community center with a café and hall, a general practitioner‘s office, commercial units, and primarily spacious apartments for new residents. The aim of the project is to create a dignified and attractive place to live in the heart of Šumava, taking full advantage of features such as views of the surrounding landscape. The goal of this work is not only to revitalize the center of Alžbětín but also to contribute to the revival of the local community and support its further development. The construction was conceived as timber construction, specifically using CLT panels and laminated timber frames. This decision was motivated not only by the location and aesthetic harmony with the surrounding nature but also from the perspective of sustainability and ecological considerations. CLT panels and glued laminated timber frames enable efficient and environmentally friendly construction with minimal impact on the environment, contributing to the overall sustainability of the project.
