ZŠ Keplerova na Pohořelci

Abstract

Pohořelec je dlouhodobě pražským místem, které si zaslouží péči. Náměstí křižují auta i tramvaje a díky širokým silnicím ve vrchní části u kasáren uniká. Naším úkolem bylo nalézt řešení jak náměstí znovu zacelit. Prostor zaceluji základní školou, která se napojuje na gymnázium. Škola je tvořená z hlavních tří částí – první stupeň, spojovací článek, druhý stupeň. Fasáda prvního stupně sahá do náměstí a uzavírá ho. Druhý stupeň se naopak napojuje na budovu gymnázia z 19. století a douzavírá blok. Škola je členěna výraznými římsami, na kterých sedí velká okna. Střešní prostory slouží jako zahrada.

Pohořelec has long been a place in Prague that deserves care. Cars and trams criss-cross the square, and thanks to the wide roads in the upper part near the barracks, it escapes. Our task was to find a solution to reseal the square. The space is completed by a primary school, which connects to the gymnasium. The school consists of three main parts – first grade, connecting link, second grade. The facade of the first level extends to the square and encloses it. The second level, on the other hand, connects to the gymnasium building from the 19th century and completes the block. The school is divided by distinctive cornices, on which sit large windows. The roof space serves as a garden.
