Abstract

Vystoupili jsme z metra D na zastávce Náměstí Bratří Synků. Ještě jsme se ani nezorientovali a už nás málem smetlo auto a pán utíkající na tramvaj nás praštil taškou. Tramvaje se objevují snad za každým rohem v nejméně očekávané chvíle. Rychle pryč odsud. Únik je naštěstí nadosah. Stačí přejít cestu, vstoupit za bělostnou clonu knihovny a vybrat si své útočistě. Altán uprostřed zahrady, pohodlnou pohovku s knihou v ruce, novou výstavu v galerii nebo šálek kávy ve vnitrobloku plném zeleně. Čas plyne. Přes průsvitnou fasádu nesměle pronikají zlatavé paprsky zapadajícího Slunce. Je čas jít domů. S uvolněnou myslí dokončíme příjemné odpoledne procházkou parkem podél kolejí.

We got off metro D at the Náměstí Bratří Synků. We even didn't get our bearings yet and we were almost run over by a car, and a man running to the tram hit us with a bag. Trams appear around every corner at the least expected moment. Get out of here quickly. Fortunately, the escape is within reach. Just cross the road, step behind the white curtain of the library and choose your refuge. Gazebo in the middle of the garden, a comfortable sofa with a book in hand, a new exhibition in the gallery, or a cup of coffee in a courtyard full of greenery. Time flows. The golden rays of the setting sun shyly penetrate through the translucent facade. It's time to go home. With a relaxed mind, we finish a pleasant afternoon with a walk through the park along the tracks.
