Konverze bývalého cukrovaru v Lázních Toušeň

Abstract

Předmětem diplomové práce je návrh konverze bývalého cukrovaru v Lázních Toušeň. Objekt cukrovaru se nachází v průmyslovém areálu na předměstí obce, ležící na levém břehu řeky Labe. Dnes je areál veřejně nepřístupný, využíván částečně pro filmový průmysl a soukromé firmy (dílny, lakovny, sklady). Svou nepřístupností veřejnosti je areál bariérou v území, které leží na exponovaném místě u řeky v Polabské nížině. V rámci předdiplomního projektu jsem navrhla (ve spolupráci) nový urbanistický soubor, který řeší danou problematiku území a nabízí obci nové možnosti rozvoje. Objekt během své životnosti plnil několik funkcí, to přineslo s sebou vrstvy v podobě přístaveb, nástaveb a různorodost materiálového řešení. Při návrhu byl kladen důraz na očištění a zjednodušení těchto vrstev a výškového uspořádání objektu. Podstatou této konverze je využití vnější obálky bývalé budovy cukrovaru a vložení do interiéru velké haly pomyslných kvádrů, které budou plnit funkce lázeňského provozu. Hmotové řešení je podpořeno horizontalitou, v podobě novostavby hotelu, který má dvě podzemní podlaží určené pro parkování. Celý komplex je doplněn o služby, které jsou nedílnou součástí provozu lázeňství a hotelového ubytování.

The subject of the diploma thesis is the proposal for the conversion of the sugar factory in the Spa Toušeň. The building of the sugar factory is located in an industrial area in the suburbs of the village, located on the left bank of the river Labe. Today the area is not accessible to the public and partially used for the film industry and private companies (workshops, paint shops, warehouses). With its inaccessibility to the public, the area is a barrier in the territory that lies in an exposed place by the river in the Polabí lowland. As part of the pre-dipoma project I have designed (in collaboration) a new urban plan, which solves the issue of the territory and offers the municipality new possiblities for development. During its lifetime, the object fulfilled several functions, which brought with it layers of extensions, superstructures and a variety of material solutions. When designing it, the focus was on purification and simplification of these layers a the height arrangement of the object. The purpose of this conversion is the use of the outer cover of the former building of the sugar factory and inserting big halls of imaginary blocks that will fulfil the functions of a spa operation, in the interior. The material solution is supported by horizonatlity, in the form of a newly built hotel, which has 2 underground floors intended for parking. The entire complex is complemented with services that are an inseparable part of the spa operations and the hotel accomodation.
