Konverze bývalého cukrovaru v Lázních Toušeň

Abstract

Předmětem diplomové práce je návrh konverze industriálního areálu a jeho začlenění do soudobého centra obce Lázní Toušeň. Historicky významný areál společně s přilehlými veřejnými prostory prozatím nevyužívá svůj potenciál a celá lokalita působí jako vyčleněná periferie města. Areál bývalého cukrovaru vznikl ve druhé polovině 19. století jako přilehlý areál k městu Toušeň. Později se k němu přidaly lázně, které jsou v provozu dodnes. Areál se nachází západně od města Lázně Toušeň a na severní straně ho obtéká řeka Labe. Okolní zástavba se skládá především z rodinných domů. Z urbanistického hlediska je soubor budov areálu koncipován ve velkém měřítku oproti okolní zástavbě. V současné době je areál částečně využit pro provoz filmových ateliérů, dále jako lakovna, kanceláře apod. Podle mého názoru je škoda, že tak hodnotný areál nemá vhodnější využití, nicméně můžeme být rádi, že není celý ponechán ladem. Areál je v současné době uzavřený a není přístupný veřejnosti. Objekty cukrovaru ukazují zásadní posun v architektuře, a také myšlení společnosti. Stavby tohoto typu jsou méně zdobené než jiné stavby ze stejné doby. Hlavním měřítkem staveb bylo jejich vybavení - stroje. Nyní je návrh zaměřen především na to, aby vyhovoval lidem. Hlavním záměrem je návrh propojení areálu s okolím města. Dále zpřehlednění lokality a určení jednotlivých provozních celků. Do areálu bude částečně zavlečena veřejná doprava, a také pěší trasy všemi směry. Dojde tak k demolici některých objektů bez zásadních architektonických hodnot. Tím pomůžeme k zpřehlednění lokality a k zvýraznění významných objektů s historickou hodnotou. Nově budou vybudovány dva objekty, které areál sjednotí a dodají mu požadovaný vzhled a funkčnost. Hlavní myšlenkou bylo areál otevřít lidem a širšímu okolí. Dále otevřít ho k řece Labi, která areálu dodá příjemnější vzhled. Je zde navrženo nové využití areálu, které rozšíří dosavadní lázeňský komplex z centra obce. Dojde tak ke zvětšení lázní, které v obci mají dlouholetou tradici. Celkově v areálu vznikne několik různých provozů, které spolu budou fungovat jako lázeňský areál. Areál bude upraven pro potřeby lidí, kteří jej využívají. Nové přístavby jsou navrženy tak, aby nenarušovaly vzhled stávajícího cukrovaru. Mají ho jen doplnit tak, aby bylo možné pokrýt nové využití objektů.

The subject of the diploma thesis is a proposal for the conversion of an industrial complex and its integration into the contemporary centre of the village of Lázně Toušeň. The historically significant area together with the adjacent public spaces has not yet used its potential and the whole location looks like a separate periphery of the town. The area of the former sugar factory was established in the second half of the 19th century as an adjacent area to the town of Toušeň. It was later joined by a spa, which is still in operation today. The site is located west of the town of Lázně Toušeň and is surrounded by the Elbe River on the north side. The surrounding buildings consist mainly of family houses. From an urban planning point of view, the complex of buildings is designed on a large scale compared to the surrounding buildings. Currently, the complex is partly used for the operation of film studios, as well as a paint shop, offices, etc. In my opinion, it is a pity that such a valuable site does not have a more appropriate use, but we can be glad that it is not left entirely to waste. The site is currently closed and not open to the public. The buildings of the sugar factory show a fundamental shift in architecture, and also in the thinking of society. Buildings of this type are less ornate than other buildings of the same period. The main scale of the buildings was their equipment - machinery. Now the design is primarily focused on making it convenient for people. The main intention is the design of connecting the site with the surrounding area. Furthermore, the site is to be made clearer and the individual operational units are to be identified. Public transport will be partly introduced to the site, as well as pedestrian routes in all directions. This will lead to the demolition of some buildings without significant architectural value. This will help to clarify the site and highlight significant buildings of historical value. Two new buildings will be constructed to unify the site and give it the desired appearance and functionality. The main idea was to open up the site to the people and the wider area. To further open it up to the Elbe River, which will give the area a more pleasant appearance. A new use of the site is proposed, which will extend the existing spa complex from the centre of the village. This will enlarge the spa, which has a long tradition in the village. Overall, several different facilities will be created on the site, which will function together as a spa complex. The area will be adapted to the needs of the people who use it. The new extensions are designed so as not to interfere with the appearance of the existing sugar factory. They are only intended to complement it to cover the new use of the buildings.
