Abstract
Hlavní podstatou konverze bývalé tovární budovy v Humpolci je snaha o zachování ducha místa. Hostel propojuje dva kontrastní světy. Na jedné straně odkazuje k bývalému surovému průmyslovému využití a na straně druhé je snaha vytvořit prostory vyvozující teplo domova a pohostinnosti. Volba materiálu společně s viditelnou vzduchotechnikou dodává místu nádech industriality.
 
The main essence of the conversion of the former factory building in Humpolec is the effort to preserve the spirit of the place. The hostel connects two contrasting worlds. On the one hand, it refers to the former raw industrial use, and on the other hand, there is an effort to create spaces that generate the warmth of home and hospitality. The choice of material together with the visible air conditioning gives the place a touch of industriality.
