ŽIDOVSKÝ ODKAZ LIBNĚ

Abstract

Hlavním cílem je uctění památky zasypaného Starého židovského hřbitova a rozšířením Nové synagogy v Libni. Tématem je návrh monumentu, který reflektuje historii svého území na místě hřbitova a doplnění synagogy o adekvátní předprostor a dodatečné funkce knihovny a galerie. Tématem je přeměna posledních pozůstatků z židovské Libně v prostory, které budou sloužit novým účelům s respektem k jejich bohaté minulosti.

The main goal is paying respect to the buried former Old Jewish cemetery and expansion of the New synagogue in Libeň. The topic is the design of a monument which reflects the history of it’s area and giving the synagogue adequate surroundings together with adding new functions of a library and a gallery. The topic is transforming the last remnants of the former Jewish quarter of Libeň into new spaces which will respect the colourful past.
