Plnění cílů Evropských enviromentálních a společenských strategií jako je například European Green Deal či předchozí Energy Union vede k výrazným změnám energetického prostředí. Do elektrizační soustavy (ES) stále více pronikají nové výrobní (např. soběstačné energetické komunity) či spotřební neřiditelné technologie (např. elektromobilita) často s výrazným časoprostorovým charakterem, které zvyšují volatilitu
provozu elektrizační soustavy. Zároveň probíhají změny energetických trhů, přičemž mezi nejpodstatnější lze řadit zkracování obchodních intervalů a vznik nových (či sjednocování stávajících) tržních platforem a mechanismů.

Meeting the objectives of European Environmental and Social Strategies such as the European Green Deal or previous Energy Union leads to significant changes in the energy environment. To the electricity system (ES) new manufacturing (e.g. self-sufficient energy communities) or consumer unsubleable technologies are increasingly (e.g. electromobility) often with a pronounced space-time character, which increase the volatility of operation of the electricity system. At the same time, changes are taking place in energy markets, with reduce trading intervals and create new (or unifying) market platforms mechanisms.
