VOLOVÁR, M. Expedícia 1954. Dokumentácia sídel južného a východného Slovenska pražskými študentmi architektúry. NÁRODOPISNÝ VĚSTNÍK BULLETIN D ’ETHNOLOGIE. 2020, XVII(supplementum), 64-74. ISSN 1211-8117.
V 50. rokoch minulého storočia prebiehalo na Slovensku viacero terénnych prieskumov kultúrneho dedičstva, na ktorých sa podieľali i českí odborníci a študenti. Dokumentáciu jednej takejto expedície z r. 1954 uchováva archív Krajského pamiatkového úradu v Prešove: vyše 800 fotografických negatívov prevažne vidieckych stavieb je cenným obrazovým prameňom k poznaniu stavebného obrazu južného a východného Slovenska pred výraznejším nástupom industrializácie. V pätici autorov dokumentácie sa podarilo identifikovať študentov architektúry pražského ČVUT a jedného ich pedagóga.

In the 1950s, several field surveys of cultural heritage took place in Slovakia, in which Czech experts and students also took part. Documentation of one such expedition from 1954 preserves the archives of the Regional Monuments Board in Prešov: more than 800 photographic negatives of mostly rural buildings are a valuable source of knowlege of the architectural face of southern and eastern Slovakia before the more significant industrialization. The authors of the documentation has been identified as four students of architecture at the Prague CTU and one of their teachers.
