Článek od renomovaných autorů dává projektantům otopných soustav mocnou zbraň proti chybování při návrhu zabezpečovacích zařízení, aniž by bylo nutné předem prostudovat všechny legislativní požadavky ČSN a ČSN EN norem. Při instalaci pojistných armatur dochází k častým chybám, ať už při volbě dimenze armatury, volbě pojistného tlaku, vzdálenosti umístění armatury, dimenzi odtoku od armatury a zanedbání nutnosti přerušit výtok na viditelném místě před odtokem do kanalizace. Součástí článku je i teplotní zabezpečovací zařízení i kombinovaná teplotní a tlaková pojistná armatura.
Doplňující informace se týká armatur na přívodu studené vody do ohřívače. Zatím málo známou skutečností je zabezpečovací zařízení zásobníkového ohřívače o objemu nad 200 l, a to i na odtoku teplé vody.

The article by reputable authors gives designers of the heating systems a powerful weapon against errors in security devices planning, without necessity to read all the
legal requirements of both Czech and European Technical Standards. When installing
the safety valves, there are frequent faults, either when selecting the dimension of the fitting, safety pressure, distance of the valve fitting, size of the drain from the fitting and neglecting the obligation to interrupt the outlet in a visible place before draining into the sewer. Part of the article is also thermal safety device and combined temperature and pressure safety valve. Additional information relates to valves on the cold water supply to the heater. So far, a very little known fact is the safety valve of storage heater with capacity over 200 l, even on the hot water outflow.
