The presented paper deals with the analysis of steel fibre reinforced polymer concrete with the aim to observe the synergy between steel fibres and polymer matrix for the purpose of enhancing the ductile behaviour of the material. The material behaviour was investigated on reference specimens subject to quasi static flexural load. Obtained findings demonstrate the fact that using steel fibres improves the peak tensile strength of polymer concrete, probably due to pre-stress which is applied during the material production under elevated temperature. The ductile behaviour of steel fibre reinforced polymer concrete depends mainly on both the content and a type of fibres used.
