Nuselský pivovar

Abstract

Zadaním mojej bakalárskej práce bola revitalizácia pivovaru v pražskej mestskej časti Nusle. Nuselský pivovar je kultúrnou pamiatkou a v súčasnosti je v zanedbanom stave a len s veľmi obmedzeným prístupom pre verejnosť. Preto sme sa aj s ostatnými projektami rozhodli, čo najviac celú časť verejnosti sprístupniť, z urbanistického hľadiska roztrieštený areál zjednotiť a tak vytvoriť miesto stretávania sa a odpočinku pre domácich obyvateľov a pre návštevníkov. Uprostred komplexu starého pivovaru som navrhla galériu s výstavnými priestormi, pre všetky druhy umeleckých diel. Okrem výstavných priestorov je budova vybavená menšou kaviarňou a učebňami slúžiacimi pre centrum voľného času. Projekt sa snaží zachovať historické konštrukcie stavby. Rozsiahlejšie búracie práce prebehnú iba v strednej časti budovy, čím v prízemí vnikne podlubie, zvýrazní sa celková otvorenosť prestavby a zároveň sa konštrukcia stane čitateľnejšou.

The assignment for my bachelor thesis was revitalisation of the brewery in the Nusle city district of Prague. Nusle Brewery is a cultural monument and at the moment, its condition is neglected and with a very restricted access to the public. That was the reason why our projects are trying to open the whole area as much as possible, we wanted to unify the whole area in sense of internal microurbanism, and to create a place for encounter and recreation for the residents and other visitors. Inside the complex of the old brewery I designed a gallery with the exhibition spaces for all kinds of artistic works. Beyond the exhibition spaces, the building is also equipped with a coffee shop and classrooms for the community centre. The project is trying to preserve historic constructions of the building, more extensive demolition works will take place only in the central part. This will create an archway, the overall openness of the reconstruction will be highlighted and at the same time the construction will become more legible.
