HELP DESIGN SE ZAMĚŘENÍM NA KONKRÉTNÍ SKUPINU

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce se věnuje návrhu individualizovaného vizuálního orientačního systému pro osoby s Alzheimerovou chorobou. Na základě analýzy cílové skupiny a principů arteterapie navrhuji službu propojující design a terapii. Ústředním výstupem je soubor ikon vycházejících z osobních rozhovorů s klienty, které byly prakticky testovány v Alzheimer centru v Roztokách. Součástí návrhu služby je také koncept otevřené digitální knihovny ikon, umožňující mezinárodní spolupráci designérů. Práce ukazuje potenciál designu jako nástroje empatie a péče.

This thesis focuses on the design of an individualized visual wayfinding system for people with Alzheimer's disease. Based on an analysis of the target group and the principles of art therapy, I propose a service combining design and therapy. The central output is a set of icons based on personal interviews with clients, which were practically tested in the Alzheimer Centre in Roztoky. The design of the service also includes the concept of an open digital icon library, enabling international collaboration between designers. The work shows the potential of design as a tool for empathy and care.
