CENTRUM DUŠEVNÍHO ZDRAVÍ PLZEŇ

Abstract

V návrhu prověřuji možnosti kombinace funkcí bydlení a centra duševního zdraví. Centrum duševního zdraví je v celku nová funkce, která vyplývá z Reformy psychiatrické péče. Jedná se o zařízení, které napomáhá lidem s duševním onemocněním se zařadit zpět do společnosti. Svým fungováním se vůbec nepodobá klasickým léčebnám, jak by se na první pohled mohlo zdát. Jedná se novou funkci, která ještě nemá vlastní typologii. Projekt je situován v proluce v centru města Plzně, ale zároveň se na úrovni územní studie věnuje i prázdnému prostranství uvnitř vnitrobloku.

In the design, I am exploring the possibilities of combining residential functions with a mental health centre. The mental health centre is a relatively new function resulting from the Psychiatric Care Reform. It is a facility that helps people with mental illness reintegrate into society. Its operation is not at all similar to traditional mental hospitals, as one might initially think. This is a new function that does not yet have its own typology. The project is situated in a gap site in the centre of Pilsen city, but it also addresses the vacant space within the inner block at the level of an urban study.
