CENTRUM MĚSTA ALBRECHTICE

Abstract

Tématem diplomové práce jsou Sudety, pohraniční oblast, která zaznamenala několik velkých historických ran a jejich důsledkem je dnes vnímaná jako nejchudší oblast. Oblast Jesenicka a Bruntálska je jednou ze zapomenutých částí České republiky. Město Albrechtice leží na východním úpatí Jeseníků a ze všech stran je obklopeno krajinou. Městem prochází důležitý dopravní tah vedoucí do Polska. Ve své práci, která začíná od urbanistického měřítka a končí až samotným detailem fasády, se zabývám, jak Městu Albrechtice navrátit jeho historický význam a upozornit na jeho potenciál.

The topic of the thesis is the Sudetenland, a border region that has suffered several major historical blows and is now perceived as the poorest region. The region of Jesenik and Bruntál is one of the forgotten parts of the Czech Republic. The town of Město Albrechtice lies at the eastern foot of the Jeseníky Mountains and is surrounded on all sides by landscape. An important transport route leading to Poland passes through the town. In my work, which starts from the urban scale and ends with the detail of the façade itself, I am exploring how to restore Město Albrechtice to its historical significance and draw attention to its potential.
