This contribution deals with the possibility to use waste vitrified tiles (VT) in high-performance concrete. Silica powder normally used in high-performance concrete is replaced by waste vitrified tiles in 25, 50, 75 and 100 %. The basic experiments are tested, such as water absorption, flexural strength and compressive strength. The durability is examined, freeze-thaw resistance is tested in 25, 50, 75 and 100 freeze cycles. The results are evaluated and compared with the reference high-performance concrete, containing silica powder. The recipe of concrete is optimized based on these results.en
