Vízia rozvoja univerzitného kampusu ČVUT v Prahe Dejviciach

Abstract

Diplomová práca sa zaoberá ideovou urbanistickou štúdiou univerzitného kampusu ČVUT v Prahe - Dejviciach. Cieľom návrhu je naplniť identifikované vnútorné priestorové rezervy univerzitného kampusu prostredníctvom systematického doplnenia fakúlt a univerzitných zariadení tak, aby došlo k efektívnemu využitiu územia, posilneniu prevádzkovej a priestorovej synergie medzi jednotlivými fakultami a súčasťami ČVUT a k vytvoreniu kompaktného, funkčne prepojeného univerzitného prostredia. Týmto spôsobom návrh smeruje k rozvoju kampusu a k posilneniu jeho funkcie ako hlavného vzdelávacieho a výskumného centra univerzity ČVUT. Návrh okrem priestorových rezerv určených Generelom ČVUT zároveň čiastočne využíva aj pozemky priliehajúce k Vítěznému náměstí, ktoré boli v minulosti zvažované pre rozvoj ČVUT a predstavujú významný rozvojový potenciál v bezprostrednom kontakte s mestskou štruktúrou. Zvyšná časť zástavby v území Vítězného námestia je v návrhu rešpektovaná a ponechaná v súlade s víťazným návrhom architektonickej súťaže na dostavbu IV. kvadrantu Vítězného náměstí, čím je zabezpečená kontinuita s existujúcou a plánovanou urbanistickou koncepciou územia.Návrh rieši umiestnenie novej celouniverzitnej auly, doplnenie zdieľaných priestorov naprieč fakultami, rozšírenie stravovacích kapacít a priestorov pre samoštúdium, ako aj bývanie pre hosťujúcich pedagógov. Súčasťou riešenia je revitalizácia verejných priestranstiev a verejnej zelene s doplnením občianskej vybavenosti, integrácia športových aktivít do areálu kampusu a vytvorenie reprezentatívneho vstupu, ktorý posilňuje identitu univerzity. Návrh zároveň kladie dôraz na zvýšenie pešej priestupnosti územia a upokojenie automobilovej dopravy v prospech bezmotorovej mobility.Diploma thesis focuses on a conceptual urban design study of the CTU university campus in PragueDejvice. The aim of the proposal is to develop the identified internal spatial reserves of the university campus through the systematic addition of faculties and university facilities, in order to achieve efficient land use, strengthen operational and spatial synergies among individual faculties and components of CTU, and create a compact, functionally interconnected university environment. In this way, the proposal contributes to the development of the campus and reinforces its role as the main educational and research center of the Czech Technical University. In addition to the spatial reserves defined by the CTU Master Plan, the proposal also partially utilizes plots adjacent to Victory Square, which were previously considered for the development of CTU and represent significant development potential in immediate contact with the urban structure. The remaining built-up area of Victory Square is respected in the proposal and left in accordance with the winning design of the architectural competition for the completion of the fourth quadrant of Victory Square, ensuring continuity with the existing and planned urban concept of the area. The proposal addresses the placement of a new university-wide auditorium, the addition of shared spaces across faculties, the expansion of dining facilities and self-study areas, as well as accommodation for visiting academic staff. The solution also includes the revitalization of public spaces and public greenery with added civic amenities, the integration of sports activities into the campus area, and the creation of a representative entrance that strengthens the universitys identity. The proposal further emphasizes improving pedestrian permeability of the area and calming automobile traffic in favor of non-motorized mobility.
