Analýza vývoje esportu na evropském a severoamerickém trzích

Abstract

Tato práce se zabývá analýzou a vývojem trhu esportu v Evropě a Severní Americe. Cílem diplomové práce je analýza vývoje esportu ve vybraných teritoriích, jejich následná krátkodobá prognóza a komparace výsledků mezi jednotlivými teritorii. K dílčímu cíli práce patří rozbor faktorů ovlivňujících růst daného trhu. Analýza je provedena pomocí vyrovnání a extrapolace časových řad. Potenciální faktory ovlivňující vývoj trhu jsou následně komparovány s klíčovými indikátory trhu, a jsou mezi nimi nalezeny závislosti. Výsledky práce přinášejí analýzu dosavadního vývoje trhu, krátkodobou prognózu nejvýznamnějších indikátorů ve vybraných regionech, a interpretují závislosti trhu esportu na dalších faktorech. Závěrečná část práce zhodnocuje výsledky a poskytuje doporučení pro investory a další subjekty působící v daném odvětví.

This diploma thesis aims to analyse the development of esports in territories of Europe and North America. The main aim of thesis is to analyse, forecast and compare the results between the territories in the short term. A sub-objective of the thesis is to analyse factors that potentially influence the growth of the esports market. The analysis is executed by smoothing and extrapolating time series for the next 3 years and their subsequent comparison. Potential factors affecting growth of the market are then compared with key market indicators and correlations are identified. The results of the work provide an analysis of the esports market development, a short-term forecast of the most important esports market indicators in the selected regions and interpret potential correlations of economic indicators affecting esports in selected territories. The final chapter provides an assessment of the results of the analyses, a territorial comparison and formulate recommendations for investors or other stakeholders in the esports industry.
