Holešovické předmostí Rohanského mostu

Abstract

V Holešovicích, čtvrti vymezené meandrem Vltavy, se nachází území s přímou návazností na řeku, které dosud postrádá ucelenou městskou strukturu. Diplomová práce se zabývá tohoto transformací území pro soudobé městské bydlení s aktivním parterem a ozeleněným veřejným prostranstvím. Klíčovým prvkem návrhu je prodloužení Bubenského nábřeží v podobě městské promenády s dominancí pěších a cyklistických vazeb. Projekt reaguje na plánovanou výstavbu nového mostu a na požadavek zachování dostatečné plochy pro rekreaci obyvatel.

In Holešovice, a district defined by a meander of the Vltava River, there is a site with direct access to the river that currently lacks a coherent urban structure. This diploma thesis focuses on the transformation of the area into contemporary urban housing with an active ground floor and a green public realm. A key element of the proposal is the extension of Bubenské nábřeží in the form of an urban promenade prioritizing pedestrian and cycling connections. The project responds to the planned construction of a new bridge and to the requirement to preserve sufficient space for residents recreation.
