Abstract

Práce představuje ucelený obecný teoretický popis vybraných matematických a fyzikálních aspektů ovlivňujících přesnost měření pozemním laserovým skenerem.

This thesis presents a general theoretical description of selected mathematical and physical aspects which influence the accuracy of terrestrial laser scanner measurements. In particular, the influence of the reflection from the inclined or rough surfaces on the measured distance is discussed. This is followed by formulas for evaluation of the influence of an inhomogeneous atmosphere on the measurement of angles and distances are presented. The practical part is focused on testing processing methods in Matlab. The registration algorithms Iterative Closest Point (ICP), Coherent Point Drift (CPD), and Normal-distributions Transform (NDT) are tested and the usability for the final transformation of point clouds onto reference points is analyzed. The last chapter presents a method of calculating the transformation key using nonlinear optimization. Data for the practical part were measured in collaboration with the company Exact Control System, Inc.
