Abstract
Předmětem diplomové práce je návrh Městské knihovny a kulturního centra v Prachaticích. Cílem práce je navrhnout knihovnu, galerii a multifunkční společenský prostor rozšířený o přilehlý Štěpánčin park. Práce obsahuje analýzy, program, koncept, situaci a návrh. Výsledkem práce je prověření vhodného umístění Městské knihovny a kulturního centra, jejího programu, hmoty a dispozice.
The main topic of my master’s thesis is to design a municipal library with a cultural center in Prachatce. The aim of this thesis is to create a library, art gallery and a multiunctonal social space extended to a park. This thesis consist of analysis, program, concept, situation and the design of the building. The outcome of this work is verification of suitable position of the municipal library and the cultural center in the city, its program, form/volume and juxtaposition.
