Abstract
Navrhuji novou budovu Státní vědecké knihovny v Prešově. Využívám potenciál prázdného místa na okraji historického centra. Vidím tady příležitost pro důležitý dům jakým je knihovna. Nové kulturně-vzdělávací centrum na atraktivním místě v srdci Prešova. Zasazením stavby do městské struktury, na hranu středověké hradby, navazuji na logické urbanistické vazby a přesouvám tuto instituci z periferie do centra.
I am designing a new building for The State Science Library in Prešov. I am using the potencial of the empty space at the edge of the historical city center. I see in this location the perfect oportunity for important structure such as Library. A new cultural and educational center in the very heart of the city. By implementing this building to the existing city structure on the edge of the medieval wall I am following rational urban context and moving this institution from periphery to the center.
