Abstract

Cílem této práce je navrhnou a implementovat ovladač pro síťový adaptér obsažený na modulu CML147786CX650HR-128 firmy RTD Embedded Technologies, Inc. Ovladač pracuje pod RT jádrem druhé generace vytvořeným R. Martínkem v rámci jeho diplomové práce a splňuje časové požadavky na maximální dobu exekuce povolené pro danou hard- real time aplikaci. Součásti ovladače je obsluha hardware síťové karty, komunikace prostřednictvím protokolů IP a UDP, a funkce DHCP klient. Aplikace běžící pod RT jádrem může pomocí tohoto ovladače komunikovat prostřednictvím protokolu UDP. Ovladač je reprezentován binární statickou knihovnou, se kterou ostatní moduly komunikují pomocí zpráv předávaných prostřednictvím mail funkce RT jádra.The aim of this work is to design and implement a driver for the network adapter situated on the CML147786CX650HR-128 module produced by RTD Embedded Technologies, Inc. The driver is intended to operate under the second generation of a RT kernel developed by Mr. R. Martinek in the case of his diploma thesis. The driver meets all time requirements for a selected particular hard real-time application. The integral parts of the driver are: network card service routine, communication via IP and UDP protocols and DHCP client functionality. Other applications running under the RT kernel can utilize it in order to communicate via UDP. The driver is represented by static binary library. The communication from and towards to other modules can be conducted by using the mail service function provided by the kernel itself.
