Abstract
Sklo svými vyjímečnými specifickými vlastnostmi si vymiňuje odlišný konstrukční přístup ve srovnání s ostatními nosnými konstrukčními materiály. Dokladem toho je i situace návrhových konstrukčních norem ke sklu. S ohledem na optické vlastnosti je jeho užití v architektuře usměrňováno i problematikou řešení stavební fyziky a fyziologickými-psychologickými potřebami uživatelů. Práce dále uvádí možné materiálové a technologické koncepce aplikace skla v budoucnosti.
Glass for specific properties is reserved for different style of design because of different physical properties in compared with other construction materials. The proof of this is the situation of design codes for glass construction. The optical properties determine the glass aplications in architecture from the side of building physics and physiological needs of users. This work shows also the potential of glass and technological applications in the future.
