Abstract
Teoretická část přináší analýzu stávajících řešení pro IT monitorování a zdůvodňuje
zvolenou architekturu jako optimální technologický stack. Praktická část podrobně
popisuje implementaci vlastní back-end aplikace napsané v jazyce C++. Back-
a přístupnost.
This bachelor thesis focuses on the development and implementation of a new monitoring dashboard for the Data Acquisition (DAQ) system of the AMBER experiment at CERN. It serves as a replacement for the former PHP-based web panel, which ceased to function after the transition from the preceding COMPASS experiment. The theoretical part provides an analysis of existing IT monitoring so- lutions and justifies the selected architecture as the optimal technological stack. The practical part focuses on the implementation of a custom back-end application writ- ten in C++. The back-end application handles communication via specific CERN network protocols to collect real-time data and exposes them to the Prometheus time-series database. The data is subsequently visualized using Grafana and finally, the entire system is deployed into CERNs cloud infrastructure, ensuring its avail- ability and accessibility.
