Abstract
Molecular Biophysics Database potřebuje kvalitní data, aniž by zatěžovala své recenzenty.
The Molecular Biophysics Database needs reliable data without overwhelming the reviewers who curate it. This thesis develops an automated validation pipeline that adds two layers on top of MBDB's existing JSON Schema submission checks. Rule-based validators apply domain knowledge and cross-field constraints, and large language models examine free-text fields for problems that deterministic rules cannot catch. The implementation contains sixteen validators (eleven rule-based, five built around LLMs) and a pilot review interface called the MBDB Review Tool that links each finding to its location in the record. The backend connects to MBDB through its REST API using per-reviewer tokens and calls the Chat AI service hosted by e-infra.cz, with primary model DeepSeek-V3.2 and Kimi-K2.5 as alternative. An expert review confirms that the system finds genuine data quality issues in MBDB records that had already passed human review.
