Abstract
Experimentální část se věnuje plnění geopolymerů simulovaným odpadem ionexy a charakteristikám geopolymerů s různým stupněm naplnění odpadem včetně pevnostních zkoušek a vyluhovacích experimentů.
Cement-based materials rank among the most widely used construction materials, with global cement production reaching several billion tons annually. Due to both environmental and technical limitations, there is a continuous search for alternatives to cement-based materials. This bachelors thesis focuses on geopolymers as an alternative to these materials. The review section describes geopolymers in terms of their history, properties, production methods, and compares them with cement-based materials in terms of both strength and overall durability, especially with regard to their use as a substitute for cement materials for the immobilization of radioactive materials intended for long-term storage. The experimental part addresses the incorporation of simulated waste into geopolymers and examines the characteristics of geopolymers with varying waste loadings, including strength testing and leaching experiments.
