Abstract
V této práci do metody GMPPI integrujeme trajektorie generované s využitím SE(3) regulátoru, přidáváme možnost dynamicky nastavit délku časového kroku v simulaci navržených trajektorií, a přidáváme schopnost deterministicky řídit úhlovou rychlost kolem osy z souřadné soustavy bezpilotního prostředku.
Agile flight in unknown environments is an important step towards autonomous Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) flights. In this thesis, we introduce the Geometric Model Predictive Path Integral (GMPPI) controller, which is capable of tracking agile trajectories and avoiding obstacles online by directly using depth sensor data. It is a sampling-based predictive control method that considers nonlinear system dynamics and uses a proposed UAV-specific cost function. The algorithm structure is based on Model Predictive Path Integral (MPPI). We newly integrate rollout trajectories created with a geometric SE(3) controller into the GMPPI method, set dynamic time steps in rollout simulation, and deterministically control yaw rotation velocity. Together, these features improve the trajectory tracking capability over an existing MPPI implementation and match the obstacle avoidance capability of a state-of-the-art real-time obstacle-aware planner. Finally, we develop a method to interface the proposed controller with a depth camera sensor by projecting candidate rollout trajectories onto the image plane of the latest available depth image. A single configuration of the proposed method can track a variety of simulated reference trajectories with precision that exceeds the geometric SE(3) controller and avoid obstacles online at speeds of up to 13 meters per second, exceeding the performance of learning-based methods without requiring any training data.
