Syntetická pojiva v silničním stavitelství

Abstract

Syntetická pojiva jsou materiálem, který je v České republice téměř nepoužíván. Tato pojiva jsou na rozdíl od černých asfaltových pojiv transparentní, což umožňuje jejich snadné zabarvení pigmentem či volbou kameniva, čehož je možné výhodně využít pro dělení dopravního prostoru, pro architektonické účely či zvýšení světlosti vozovky v tunelech. Zároveň je možné tato pojiva vyrábět z obnovitelných zdrojů, což může výrazně snížit dopad výroby asfaltových směsí na životní prostředí. Hlavní překážkou ve využívání těchto pojiv je kromě jejich vyšší ceny oproti asfaltovým pojivům zejména absence zkušeností s jejich využíváním. Dalším problémem je, že aktuální předpisy týkající se asfaltových pojiv se na syntetická pojiva nevztahují. Tato diplomová práce se v teoretické části zabývá představením syntetických pojiv a popisu zahraničních zkušeností s využíváním těchto pojiv. V praktické části jsou pak provedeny laboratorní zkoušky na syntetických pojivech komerčně dostupných v Evropě a výsledky jsou srovnávány s vlastnostmi běžně využívaných asfaltových pojiv a s poznatky o syntetických pojivech, které byly prezentovány v zahraničních publikacích.Synthetic binders are a material that sees almost no use in the Czech republic. Unlike the black bitumen binders, these binders are transparent, which allows them to be easily colored using a pigment or by the aggregate choice, which can be advantageously used for dividing the traffic space, for architectural purposes or to make the roadway brighter in tunnels. These binders can also be produced using renewable sources, which can significantly lower the environmental impact of asphalt mixture production. The main obstacle to the use of these binders, apart from their higher price compared to standard bitumen binders, is the lack of experience regarding their use. Another problem is that the current regulations for bitumen binders do not apply on synthetic binders. The theoretical part of this thesis deals with the introduction of synthetic binders and the description of foreign experience with the use of these binders. In the practical part, laboratory tests are then carried out on synthetic binders commercially available in Europe and the results are compared with the properties of the commonly used bitumen binders and with the knowledge of synthetic binders presented in foreign publications.
