Abstract

This article presents for analysis several conceptual and ideological problems that arose before the author during the preparation of exhibitions on the post-war history of the Czechoslovak watch industry in the National Technical Museum in Prague. Specifically, the text reflects on the possibilities of the most suitable museum presentation of topics that are problematic from a contemporary point of view, in the case of the history of the Czechoslovak watchmaking industry, these are the processes of acquiring know-how and technological transfer associated with the violation of industrial rights and copying of foreign designs.
