Abstract

Interaction of a laser with a solid target is a complex phenomenon, involving various energy transport mechanisms. Numerical modelling of these processes in laser plasma follows the classical diffusion theory typically. Hence, non-locality of the transport must be modelled, which holds a significant importance for applications like inertial confinement fusion, prepulses of ultra-high intensity.
