Abstract
This work is dedicated to electric vehicles sphere current and future state analysis as in EU in general as in individual countries such as Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Slovakia and Ireland based on legislation and lead energy company's papers along with car manufacturers surveys. Based on them economic effectiveness of public charging stations from the businesses point of view was evaluated in a form of NPV model with obtaining service charge for a company dealing with recharging station installation and operation.
