Abstract
The goal of this Bachelor's thesis is to construct or modify a 3D printer so that it is capable of poling an electroactive polymer during printing with a poling apparatus based on the print head. Current methods combining 3D printing and poling are limited by distance due to atleast one of the electrodes being stationary. This problem is present in both in-situ and ex-situ methods of poling 3D printed samples. Usage of a poling apparatus that is fully contained on the print head would remove this distance limitation and allow for theoretically unlimited printing and poling height, due to the electrode distance staying costant during printing.
