Abstract
V předložené práci jsou popsány procesy vedoucí k analogovému návrhu LDO regulátoru s PMOS výkonovým prvkem v technologii BCD8 společnosti STMicroelektronics. V práci je vysvětlena funkce MOS tranzistorů při konstrukci integrovaných obvodů a základní teorie potřebná pro pochopení procesu výroby integrovaných obvodů. Práce se věnuje teorii napěťových regulátorů a zabývá se návrhem funkčního LDO regulátoru s nadproudovou a teplotní ochranou.
Principles of analog design of a low-dropout regulator with PMOS pass element in BCD8 technology of STMicroelectronics are described in this thesis. The paper specifies the function of MOS transistors in the design and presents a basic theory, which is needed for understanding the fabricating processes. The thesis deals with theory of voltage regulators and describes the design of a functional LDO with overcurrent and thermal protection.
