METROPOLITNÍ DŮM VINOHRADY

Abstract

Tématem diplomové práce je metropolitní dům na Vinohradech. Cílem bude najít vhodné řešení jak doplnit blok na křížení ulic Slezská a Blanická. Jedná se o jeden z posledních nezastavěných pozemků v dnes již ucelené zástavbě Vinohrad. Pozemek se nachází v sousedství několika významných domů z průběhu 20. Století. Naším úkolem bude se pokusit kvalitě těchto staveb vyrovnat a současně se pokusit odpovědět na otázky jak by mělo vypadat moderní luxusní bydlení v takto prestižní lokalitě a též jak vstupovat s novou stavbou do městské historické zástavby.The theme of diploma project is the Vinohrady's metropolitan house. The goal is to find an adequate solution how to complete the block structure at the street crossings of "Slezská" and "Blanická" streets. Nowadays the project's site is one of the last unbuilt ones in the Vinohrady's united structure. The site neighbours with a few important buildings of 20th century. Our task will be to create contemporary building which can stand next to these buildings and to answer the questions how could the modern living in prestigious location could look like and how intervene in historical city structure.
