Abstract
Ještě nedávno se podél cesty k poutnímu kostelu sv. Gotharda rozkládala pole. S rozrůstáním městské zástavby Hořic a rozvojem rekreace ve 20. století se políčka proměnila v park, který byl díky místní kamenické tradici doplněn o pískovcové sochy a svépomocí postavenou sochařskou galerii. Ta je již bohužel velmi zchátralá a nesplňuje podmínky pro vystavování. Proto v malém podkrkonošském městečku vznikne galerie nová. Budou se v ní potkávat nejen zájemci o umění, ale i tamní obyvatelé a široká veřejnost.
Not so long ago, fields were cultivated along the road to St. Gothard's pilgrimage church. With the growth of urban development in Hořice and the development of recreation in the 20th century, the fields were transformed into a park, which was supplemented by sandstone sculptures and a self-built sculpture gallery thanks to the local stone tradition. Unfortunately, it is now very dilapidated and does not meet the conditions for exhibition. Therefore, a new gallery will be built in this small town. It will be a meeting place not only for those interested in art, but also for local residents and the general public.
