Historie a současnost očkování na území Čech a Moravy

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce popisuje historii a současnost očkování na území Čech a Moravy a poukazuje na důležitost očkování, které je základním prvkem v boji proti infekčním onemocněním. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se zabývá historickým vývojem legislativy spojené s očkováním, výrobou očkovacích látek na území současné České republiky, a především pak infekčními onemocněními a očkováními. Je zde popsána historie jednotlivých očkování i jejich současná podoba, a také očkovací kalendář jak dětí, tak dospělých. V praktické části je znázorněna účinnost a důležitost očkování, a to pomocí grafů zobrazujících počet onemocnění po zavedení povinných očkování. Dále je zde srovnána proočkovanost v České republice a několika okolních státech. Významnou část tvoří rozhovory s odborníky na přenosné infekční choroby, kteří zde zaujímají stanovisko k povinným očkováním a současným hrozbám. V diskuzi předkládám několik návrhů na zlepšení současné situace proočkovanosti v České republice, porovnání výsledků práce s článkem z lékařského časopisu a je zde také řešena bezpečnost uchovávání viru varioly v laboratořích.This diploma thesis describes the history and present of vaccination in Bohemia and Moravia and draws attention to the importance of vaccination, which is an essential element in the fight against infectious diseases. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the historical development of legislation related to vaccination, the production of vaccines in the current territory of the Czech Republic, and especially infectious diseases and vaccinations. It describes the history of individual vaccinations and their current form, as well as the vaccination calendar for both children and adults. The practical part shows the effectiveness and importance of vaccination, using graphs showing the number of diseases after the introduction of mandatory vaccinations. Furthermore, the vaccination coverage in the Czech Republic and several neighboring countries is compared. A significant part consists of interviews with experts in communicable infectious diseases, who take a stand on mandatory vaccinations and current threats. In the discussion, I present several suggestions on how to improve the current situation of vaccination in the Czech Republic, compare the results of the thesis with an article from a medical journal and the safety of smallpox virus storage in laboratories is also addressed.
