Delirium na jednotce intenzivní péče

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou delirantních stavů pacientů, kteří jsou hospitalizováni na jednotce intenzivní péče. Zaměřuje se především na rozvoj, diagnostiku a terapii delirantních stavů. Cílem práce bylo zjistit a zhodnotit četnost výskytu a závažnost delirantních stavů a následné komplikace při pooperační péči na jednotce intenzivní péče. Teoretická část obsahuje souhrn dostupných informací o delirantních stavech. Jedná se především o patofyziologii a typy delirantních stavů. Dále jsou popsány rizikové faktory vzniku deliria a možná prevence. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována látkám způsobující tyto stavy. Další část práce pojednává o možnostech terapie a diagnostiky deliria na jednotkách intenzivní péče. Praktická část je provedena retrospektivní analýzou dokumentací pacientů, kteří byli hospitalizováni na jednotce intenzivní péče I. chirurgické kliniky Všeobecné fakultní nemocnice v Praze. Potřebné informace byly zanalyzovány a získávány z již uzavřených dokumentací pacientů a všechna data jsou plně anonymizována. Data a výsledky výzkumu jsou prezentovány pomocí tabulek a grafů.This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of delirious states of patients who are hospitalized in the intensive care unit. It focuses primarily on the development, diagnosis and therapy of delirious conditions. The aim of the study was to determine and evaluate the frequency and severity of delirium and subsequent complications in postoperative care in the intensive care unit. The theoretical part contains a summary of available information about delirious states. These are mainly pathophysiology and types of delirium. Risk factors for delirium and possible prevention are also described. Special attention is paid to the substances causing these conditions. The next part of the thesis deals with the possibilities of therapy and diagnosis of delirium in intensive care units. The practical part is performed by a retrospective analysis of documentation of patients who were hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the 1st Surgical Clinic of the General University Hospital in Prague. The necessary information has been analyzed and obtained from already closed patient documentation and all data are fully anonymized. Research data and results are presented using tables and graphs.
