Problematika využití stínících vest pro nukleární medicínu

Abstract

Tato práce se zabývá problematikou stínících vest v nukleární medicíně. Teoretické část práce popisuje zásadní typy interakcí ionizujícího záření. Dále jsou v práci zmíněny nejpoužívanější typy radionuklidů a jejich formy. S aplikacemi radionuklidů souvisí i nejčastější diagnostická vyšetření a terapeutické aplikace. Práce obsahuje modelové příklady ozáření personálu při práci s otevřenými radionuklidovými zdroji. Praktická část se věnuje měření stínícího efektu dvou vest (olovnaté a bezolovnaté) pomocí naměřených dat ze spekter a dávkových příkonů.

Presented bachelor thesis deals with the issue of shielding waistcoats in nuclear medicine. The theoretical part of the thesis consists of fundamental types of ionizing radiation interactions. Furthermore, the most common types of radionuclides and their forms are mentioned in the thesis. The most common diagnostic examinations and therapeutic applications are also related to the applications of radionuclides. This thesis also contains examples of staff exposure during opened radionuclide sources maintanance. The practical part is dedicated to measurement the shielding effect of two aprons (lead and lead-free) using measured data from spectra and dose rates.
