Abstract
Miesto projektu sa nachádza v meste Cruquius v Amsterdame. Cruquius je mestská štvrť vo východnom Amsterdame, ktorá transformuje priemyselný prístavný ostrov na mestskú štvrť so zmiešaným využitím. Cieľom tohto projektu je navrhnúť budovu so zmiešaným využitím na pozemku, ktorý sa nachádza na myse ostrova. Budova by nemala fungovať len ako samostatný celok, ale mala by reagovať na potreby svojho okolia a prispieť k sociálne udržateľnej štvrti. Mojím poslaním bolo navrhnúť budovu, ktorá by reagovala na vysoký dopyt po bývaní, ale zároveň by predstavila pracovný a voľnočasový program flexibilným spôsobom charakteristickým pre hybridné budovy.
The project site is located in Cruquius, Amsterdam. Cruquius is an urban district in east Amsterdam, transforming an industrial port island, into a mixed-use city district. This project aims to design a mixed-use building on a plot located at the cape of the island. The building should not only work as a singular unit but respond to the needs of its surroundings and contribute to a socially sustainable neighborhood. My mission was to design a building that would respond to high housing demand and introduce a work and leisure program in a flexible fashion characteristic of hybrid buildings.
