Abstract
Diplomová práca sa zaoberá problémom zdegradovaného nádvoria Tyršovho domu a Michnovho paláca, so silným historickým kontextom miesta, sídla organizácie Sokol. Dnes dvor slúžiaci iba ako parkovisko, predtým plnil funkciu letného športoviska. Práca hľadá odpovede na otázky zahustenia športu v historickom kontexte Malej Strany a dialógu s existujúcou okolitou štruktúrou budov a verejného priestoru. Výsledkom je otvorený pavilón, altán, parasol, ktorý nadväzuje na tradíciu letného športoviska, no dnes otvorenému pre všetkých.
The diploma thesis addresses the problem of the degraded courtyard of Hous of Tyrš and Palace of Michna, as the headquarters of the Sokol organization. Today, the courtyard serves only as a parking lot, although it previously served as a summer sports ground. The thesis searches answers to questions about a densification of sports in the historical context of Malá Strana and the dialogue with the existing surrounding structure of buildings and public space. The result is an open pavilion, gazebo, parasol, which continues the tradition of the summer sports ground, but today open to everyone.
