Odolnost sítě evropských leteckých spojení v průběhu pandemie Covid-19

Abstract

Předmětem bakalářské práce je analýza konektivity a odolnosti evropské letecké sítě v průběhu pandemie Covid-19. Motivací k výběru tématu bakalářské práce bylo bližší pochopení dopadů pandemie na leteckou síť a leteckou dopravu obecně. Práce se zaměřuje na konektivitu 24 nejvýznamnějších evropských letišť, která byla vybrána na základě počtu odbavených cestujících. Práce se též zaměřuje na odolnost celé letecké sítě, která je tvořena spojeními ze zkoumaných letišť. Pro stanovení hodnot konektivity byla využita metoda centrality. Pro následné posouzení stavu letecké sítě a porovnání jednotlivých letišť byly použity statistické metody, konkrétně korelační analýza a testování hypotéz. Díky provedené analýze byla odhalena silná letiště a jejich spojení, která zůstala aktivní i během největší kulminace krize a zajišťovala tak konektivitu v rámci evropské letecké sítě.The subject of the bachelor’s thesis is the analysis of connectivity and resilience of the European air transport network during the Covid-19 pandemic. The reason for choosing the topic of this bachelor’s thesis was a closer understanding of the impact of the pandemic on the air transport network and aviation in general. The thesis focuses on the connectivity of the 24 most important European airports, which were selected based on the number of passengers carried. The work also focuses on the resilience of the whole network, which consists of connections from the airports examined. To determine connectivity values, the centrality method was used. For the subsequent assessment of the state of the air transport network and the comparison of airports, statistical methods, specifically correlation analysis and hypothesis testing, were used. Due to conducting an analysis, strong airports and their connections were revealed. These connections remained active even during the peak of the crisis, thus ensuring connectivity within the European air transport network.
