Informační centrum a vyhlídka Porta Bohemica

Abstract

V Roudnici nad Labem se na levém břehu řeky Labe u vlakového nádraží nachází vodárenská věž, která plnila funkci napájení parních lokomotiv. Naším úkolem bylo vytvořit v těsné blízkosti věže informační centrum, plnící i další funkce - galerie a kavárny, které by účastníkům cyklostezky poskytlo přístřeší, zázemí i občerstvení a zároveň na věži vytvořit vyhlídku, která by se stala zajímavým turistickým cílem. Samotná věž si prošla pouze potřebnou obnovou a vytvořením ochozu kolem kruhové nádrže. Po levé straně věže se nacházejí dvě budovy. Jedna je zasazena do svahu a druhá se nachází částečně nad řekou. Nově vytvořené budovy mají jednoduchý tvar s fasádní textilií, která tvoří světelnou clonu interiéru a dodává budovám odlehčený vzhled.In Roudnice nad Labem, on the left bank of the river Elbe, next to the train station is a former water tower, which served as a water supply for steam locomotives. Our task was to create an information center that would be close to the tower, fulfilling other functions - as gallery and cafe, which would provide shelter, facilities and refreshments for the participants of the cycling path and at the same time create an outlook on the tower, which would become a touristic destination. The tower itself will have only a necessary renovation and will have created an outlook around the circular tank on top of the tower. To the left of the tower are two buildings. One is sunk into a slope and the other is located partly above the river Labe. Newly created buildings have a simple rectangle shape with a facade fabric, which forms the light curtain of the interior and gives the buildings a lightweight look.
