Abstract
Soudobá modernistická architektura, ekologický přístup a kvalita
představena pomocí textů, výkresů, fotografií modelů a realizací.
ceny.
pracovník, nový předmět s názvem Inovativní stavební a architektonické techniky, a to v rámci
The habilitation thesis is called Creation of Space as a Synthesis, because space is the most important expressive means of architecture. I see architecture as a synthesis of influences and circumstances that enter the design. I strives to create timeless works taking into account environmental aspects, which is also presented in the submitted work. I try to apply ecological concepts to every project so that my realizations do not unnecessarily burden the environment and leave as little carbon footprint as possible. I find inspiration in Brno‘s functionalism, which I consider a unique architectural style. Contemporary modernist architecture, an ecological approach and the quality of the architectural space is what I strive for in every construction. These three main elements are the unifying motif of all the works that I present here. The treatise mainly consists of projects and realizations in the form of my independent creative work, which is presented using texts, drawings, photos of models and realizations. It includes detached houses, apartment complexes, manufacturing plants, administrative buildings, sports facilities, multifunctional buildings, school buildings, house renovations, public space and also small architecture. The works are connected by a comment, which thus creates a connecting line between them. In this treatise, several student designs or final theses that I had led are shown as examples. Some of them have won architectural awards. I also give feedback on my work, awards, publishing activities, exhibitions and especially innovative solutions that I have managed to apply to buildings over the years. From these findings, a new subject called Innovative construction and architectural techniques will be created at the Institute of Architecture, Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Technology in Brno, where I work as an academic, within the framework of accreditation in the following years. I consider this as a very valuable part of the entire work, because in this optional subject the best that I have achieved in my work over the last twenty years will be projected. This knowledge will thus be disseminated to our students in the master‘s degree
