Abstract

Zadaním diplomovej práce je výstavba Múzea Pražskej Železnice nachádzajúcej sa v mestskej časti Praha 8. V súčasnosti je pozemok zastavaný bývalými výrobnými objektami, ktoré už neplnia svoju funkciu. Bývalá lakovna prejde komplexnou rekonštriukciou a spolu s novými budovami vytvorí atraktívny výstavný priestor. Vzniknú tak tri navzájom poprepájané časti, nová výšková budova A, v jej návaznosti historický objekt a celú kompozíciu ukončí budova B. Nezabudnuteľný ráz výstavbe dodáva aj presklenná lávka v piatom nadzemnom podlaží.

This Master’s Thesis is focused on the construction of the Museum of Prague Railway, located in Prague 8. At present, the parcel is filled with old industrial buildings that no longer fulfill their function. The old lacquer works building will be completely reconstructed, and together with new buildings will create an attractive exhibition space. Three new interconnected parts will thus be created, new tall building A, a new historical complex connected to it, with building B to complete the composition. The unique character of the construction as a whole is also further enhanced by the glass footbridge on the fifth floor.
